After the first 24hrs, my hubby called Telstra to let them know about our connection issues. They had us test a few things with the modem and ultimately told us that it had done it's time and needed to be replaced. One hundred dollars later we hook everything up and are reconnected for 5 minutes before it cuts out again. My hubby calls Telstra back only to be told it wasn't a fault with the modem, there's an outage in our area................and they aren't fixing it until Monday - possibly later! OMG, seriously? That is like an eternity with no internet when you need it for work - and comps!
Thankfully, we have a dongle (I honestly thought my husband made that word up to be funny but I found out today it's the actual word for it, lol) for mobile Wi-Fi and Telstra eventually agreed to load it with 30GB to get us through the outage. Yay, happy ending - I'm connected once again........
